Aftercare

The Extended Day Program is a time when the students participate in enrichment activities with engaging teachers. They have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the areas of music, art, and the EDU-Garden. This program also provides:

  • Designated time to complete school assignments with help from the afterschool teachers.

  • Free snacks each day.

The hours of operation are 2:45-6:00 p.m. on regular school days.

All payments are due on the first of each month.

Bright Futures Academy provides in-house scholarships to families that qualify. BFA uses the information from the Palm Beach County School District's Free and Reduced Lunch application form to determine the eligibility of a scholarship applicant; therefore, it is a requirement that all applicants seeking a scholarship click this link to fill out the District's online Free and Reduced Lunch application, and select "Yes" when asked "Do you want this application to be used in determining your child(ren)'s eligibility in other programs which may include possible scholarships, field trips, fee waivers, and low cost health insurance (which is available to children through Medicaid or Florida KidCare)?"

Scholarships amounts range in denominations of full, half, and partial awards. Due to the large number of scholarship applications that Bright Futures receives every year, we use a lottery process to select candidates; therefore, any account that is 30 days overdue will be in jeopardy of losing funding.
