As a public charter school, Bright Futures Academy is required to administer several state and district mandated assessments.
There are diagnostic tests in English/Language Arts (ELA) and Math for grades 3-8. The Palm Beach Performance Assessment is a writing diagnostic given to students in grades 1-8. Students in grades 5 and 8 take a Science test as well. Students who take courses for high school credit, such as Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Biology take an End-Of-Course (EOC) Exam. Students in Middle School are required to take a Civics EOC prior to entering High School.
