The 7th and 8th grade students recently showcased their inventor skills at our Innovator and Inventor Fair. These projects were created as part of a “Shark Tank” unit in Mrs. Hanson’s Language Arts classes. Students created or improved upon an item they felt other students would want or need. Agrium's 'Seed Survivor' Mobile Classroom is coming to Bright Futures Academy on March 6 in partnership with Florida Agriculture in the Classroom. This month, second grade learned about biographies. Individually, the students presented their selected person in the form of a poster, soliloquy, mobile or 3-D diorama in class. On Monday, February 27, 2017 the students did a choral speaking presentation titled "They Fought For Freedom" highlighting different men and women in history who made a difference in the world. The students sang songs and recited poems. The parents, teachers and students enjoyed it!
