Fourth grade celebrated fall with a candy corn STEM challenge. Students worked in small groups and given a cup of candy corn and 250 tooth picks. Students raced to create the tallest structure using team work strategies!

Despite the fact that charter schools are public schools too, for many years they haven’t been equally funded compared to other district schools as the state’s charter law intended. This past legislative session, the Florida Legislature passed a law to stop these practices and ensure that all of Florida’s public school children are treated equally. The District has informed us that the lunch menu for Thursday (Oct. 19) has been changed. The Philly Cheese Steak sub will not be available, that entree choice will instead be Chicken Quesadillas.
