The Bright Futures Academy Soccer and Girls’ basketball teams are still seeking their first wins after several games last week.

On the soccer pitch, the Sharks lost to Jupiter Christian 7-0. Led by the efforts of Dakota S., Ethan K., and Josh J., the soccer team has shown great improvement despite the scoreboards this season. Soccer will close out its season this week against Jupiter Christian.

Girls basketball lost a tough match 20-18 against a very talented Benjamin team last Monday. The girls were led by stand out 6th grader Gabi F. with 14 points. Wana J. scored 4, and Abraiya E. showed great hustle and effort. The Sharks lost their other two games last week, against All Saints Academy on Tuesday and Franklin Academy (Palm Beach Gardens) on Thursday. The girls’ basketball team will be in action on Tuesday against Franklin Academy (Boynton Beach) and on Wednesday against Benjamin.
