The Second Grade had a wonderful time buying and selling items at the annual Goods and Services Fair held at the Fellowship Hall at the Lighthouse Campus on Friday morning.
Students worked alone and in pairs to generate ideas for booths, preparing their items or services, and then taking turns managing the booth. And of course, they get to split the earnings!
We had so many creative shops that it was hard for the students to choose where to spend their money. Items such as food, gently used toys, and handmade crafts were sold at the Fair. There were carnival games, nail salons and also a “tattoo” booth. We had tremendous support from our fantastic parents and all the students sold out their shops by the time the Fair ended. Thank you to all who made this event such a success!
