Elementary Cubism

In the early 20th century, Pablo Picasso worked in a style that was radically different than what his peers were doing. As an abstract medium, Picasso focused on the basic geometric shapes of his subjects. This movement in art became known as Cubism. Elementary students used markers and crayons in lieu of paint, and created self portraits in the Cubist style.
