Monets In The Making

The students in K-4 art classes ​learned​ about Claude Monet, artist and painter of the Impressionist art movement​,​​ who was inspired by the outdoors and nature. Monet enjoyed ​using bright colors and broad strokes, which the students recreated using oil pastels in class.
