October Is Bullying Awareness & Prevention Month

September 28, 2016

October is Bullying Awareness  and Prevention Month! WE'RE ALL IN!!.... is the message. Classes will be creating class projects that depict the message that "We're All In! People of all nationalities and cultures are welcome in this classroom!"

October 19 is Unity Day. Students (and staff!) are encouraged to wear ORANGE. Students may wear an orange shirt with no pictures or words. Uniform bottoms must be worn. Unity Day is a national campaign.

"Make it ORANGE and make it end! What are your true colors when it comes to bullying? Unity Day is the day everyone can come together and send one large ORANGE message of support, hope, and unity to show that we are together against bullying and united for kindness, acceptance, and inclusion."
