Agrium's 'Seed Survivor' Mobile Classroom is coming to Bright Futures Academy on March 6 in partnership with Florida Agriculture in the Classroom.
This interactive learning experience teaches students in grades 3-4 what plants need to grow.
Seed Survivor is a curriculum-based program that tours North America year-round. Touring since 2009, the Seed Survivor Mobile has received thousands of outstanding comments from teachers, parents and students. It has been compared to a Walt Disney display on wheels.
Last year Seed Survivor planted more than 100,000 sunflower seeds with students and visited 16 states and provinces.
Seed Survivor consists of five curriculum-based interactive children’s displays that are fun for the whole family. Visitors have an opportunity to compete as virtual farmers, design a garden, and even plant a seed to take home and grow.
