The Spring Book Fair Is Coming!
Our spring book fair will be held May 8-May 11. There are several fun things going on during the days leading up and during the week of the book fair. Please see information and schedules below.
**RIVERSIDE STUDENTS WILL ONLY GO ONCE, unless they go again with their parent. Parents are welcome to shop with their child during open hours.**
Book Fair Schedule (For Lighthouse students)
Monday, May 8--12:00 noon to 4:00 PM - PREVIEW DAY
Tuesday, May 9--8:30 AM to 4:00 PM -KG, 1st, and 2nd Shopping Day
Wednesday, May 10--8:30 AM to 4:00 PM - 3rd and 4th Grade Shopping Day
Thursday, May 11--8:30 AM to 12:00 noon - LH students who bring money will be called down to make purchases.
For Middle School students:
Monday - Mrs. Hanson’s 6th period will go with Mrs. Hanson Tuesday Mr. Glynn’s 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th periods will go with Mr. Glynn Wednesday Mrs. Hanson’s 2nd and 5th periods will go with Mrs. Hanson Thursday Mrs. Hanson’s 1st period will go with Mrs. Hanson
Week of May 1--The "Dollar Drive for Books" begins and runs through May 5. Winning classrooms on each campus win a classroom party.
Week of May 1--Door Decorating for any teacher at Lighthouse who wishes to participate. Prizes will include a raffle basket of books and a gift card for the teacher.
May 1-May 4--Guessing Jar will be at Front Desk at Riverside. Winner receives a book fair gift certificate and will get to choose a poster from the book fair.
May 5--Guessing Jar will circulate the classrooms at Lighthouse. Winner receives a book fair gift certificate and will get to choose a poster from the book fair.
May 8--Book Fair Opens! Dress Like a Camper day! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners at each campus (picked by Ms. Colloca and Ms. Slone) win a book fair gift certificate and poster from the book fair. Teachers can participate, too! Get creative, campers!
May 9--Book Fair Family Event from 6-8. We will have presentations from the scout programs (boys and girls) and Florida State Parks. Light refreshments in the camping theme will be provided. Teachers are welcome to come with their families, as well.
