About Bright Futures

“The early years of a child’s life are very important for later health and development.” CDC

Early learning promotes lifelong learning! That’s why Bright Futures Academy provides a setting and curriculum that facilitates a love of learning from a very young age. Through our years of experience in the childcare industry, we have learned that children learn best when they are provided with a setting that engages their curiosity and supports their individuality. From educational support, to engaging opportunities that develop and refine social skills and spiritual building blocks; we strive to provide the relationships, engagement and opportunities that help your child develop into the person they were meant to be.

Bright Futures Academy Foundational Pieces

1

Safety and Security

The safety of the children in our care is our upmost priority and at the forefront of every decision we make at BFA. With technology and procedures in place to ensure that parents can have peace of mind when entrusting their precious children to us.

2

Curriculum and Play

Children learn best through play and our early learning curriculum reflects that! BFA proudly uses the Bright Wheel curriculum, which is a fun, theme-based learning curriculum. The curriculum is backed by 30 years of research; and provides children opportunities to really dive into learning, which helps develop enthusiasm to become lifelong learners.

3

Ages Served

From the sweetest, tiniest little friends at 6 weeks old, to the active and fun-seeking 12 year old adventurers; we strive to serve your family with the care, engagement and fun that every child deserves.

4

Age-Appropriate Classroom and Environment

Each classroom is designed according to the development and needs of each specific age group. We strive to offer an environment that provides for each child’s learning style. We offer two separate playgrounds, to ensure the environment is both engaging and age appropriate.

5

Health and Wellness

Bright Futures Academy provides healthy meals and snacks each day; to ensure your child is fueled to learn and grow. Outdoor play is incredibly beneficial for children, our kiddos are given ample time outside to get physical activity and explore the great outdoors.

6

Learning through Play

Children learn with their whole bodies. The BFA curriculum is designed to meet a child where they are and engage them in learning through play. Lessons and activities are hands on, designed to stimulate the senses and draw the children in, playing to a childs’ curious nature.

7

Faith Based Learning

In addition to learning and growing physically and scholastically, Bright Futures Academy wants to make sure your child’s soul is fed. Our curriculum includes a faith based, non-denominational, component to support child’s spiritual development.

Teacher and Staff Qualifications

Our staff members and teachers are such an integral part of the care and education that we provide at BFA. Each BFA teacher and staff member undergo two background checks, looking into possible criminal background or a history of child abuse or neglect. In addition, each of our staff members receives a minimum of 15 hours of continuing education training annually, pertaining to early childhood education and development, as well as CPR and First aid training, a State Orientation class, and Pediatric Head Trauma training class. But perhaps most importantly, our teachers have a heart for preparing, nurturing and educating each child in their care.
